Polaris Travel Clinic and Pharmacy is proud to announce that they have donated $555 to the Airdrie Health Foundation. Polaris donated $1 for every travel vaccine administered at their clinic from the period of March 1 to June 30, 2014, resulting in a total of $555. Funds donated will go to helping AHF advocate for 24/7 emergency medical care in Airdrie.
“We feel the work being done by the Airdrie Health Foundation is vital to the community. The goal of 24 hour urgent care and expansion of health care services in Airdrie is definitely something we support,” said Jason Kmet, owner/pharmacist at Polaris.
Polaris Travel Clinic and Pharmacy opened in Airdrie in January 2013. Their focus is on keeping you safe and healthy while on your trip, no matter where the destination. They provide pre-travel health consultations, vaccinations, travel related prescription and non-prescription medications, and travel related retail products such as mosquito nets and water purification tablets. They also provide non-travel vaccinations, including flu shots for individuals or businesses.
